Oil on canvas
I haven't yet come out of the psychological effects of visiting Kanha and I am happy about it. This painting is again from there.
I have chosen a slightly bigger size of canvas and did nice underpainting before filling the final colors. To tell you the truth, I started painting this one and after 15 -20 minutes, felt that things aren't going the way i had hoped and wiped off the whole thing. Nice thing was that what remained was a nice underpainting. Surprisingly, at this point i got back my confidence and the result is before your eyes. I am posting the underpainted stage photo below. I only realized that I should take a photo when I had started filling up the final blue green foliage, hence you see the dark colors there.
