24" x 36"
Oil on canvas
Location: Cherrapunji, near Nohkalikai falls, Meghalaya, India
The water logged plains that are seen in this painting are the plains of Bangladesh. The rainwater falling in the hills of Meghalaya flows to these plains. It is an irony that the wettest place on earth faces water shortage in the dry months.
