Just after the rains, the Sahyadri mountain range is lush green. I did this painting form a photo I had clicked near Bhatghar dam on September 2006. Painting en plein air is the best but such opportunities are scare and I have to rely on the photographs that I click when on a weekend trip.
Though mid-day is said to be not good for landscape painting I liked the patterns of cloud shadow on the mountain slope.
