Oil on canvas
Inspiration for this painting came to me from three sources.
1. The drought like situation that has developed in Western Maharashtra recently.
2. The Sahyadri mountain range that takes on all shades of green in monsoon.
3. Ever increasing numbers of cookery shows on TV showing recipes of all sorts of things from all over the world which gives an impression that every average Joe has become a Chef and the contrast of ready-made food that tell you to "just add water" and you have an exotic dish ready.
